STAY Transitions – Towards Better Futures

STAY Transitions supports young people transitioning from Secondary Education into Higher Education to ensure a seamless journey and a positive destination. It is an ongoing 1:1 service delivered in a variety of colleges as part of a partnership with Glasgow City Council’s Towards Better Futures Programme. Our service is available at Glasgow City College, Glasgow Kelvin College, and Glasgow Clyde College.

Our mentors assist students to sustain their college place and offer support across a variety of issues, such as:

Budgeting
Housing Support
Learning Support
Mental Wellness
Key Services Links
Financing
Job Applications
Advocating on Student's Behalf

All participants will be allocated a key worker who will support them throughout the programme and for up to 6 months after, depending upon the individual needs. Please note our services operate in conjunction with the college services. Support is available from April to June within schools and throughout the college course duration.
